A feature of the Sundance is it has a wide cockpit for easy entry and exit.
The sit inside configuration of the Sundance means the centre of gravity of the paddler is lower, therefore the kayak becomes much more stable and easier to paddle. As a result sit inside kayaks are more stable than sit on top kayaks.
